Eclipsed Sun, 1976, acrylics

The colors in this image are somewhat inaccurate of the actual painting. The background was a mixture of dark greens. Paint was layed on with a pallet knife, so there was a lot of texture, which can't be seen in the image. I no longer have this piece because I took it, along with many other pieces of my art, to Goodwill when I loved. I had no room for it all in the condo. This image was scanned from an old photo in which the painting was hanging on the wall. I very much regret not keeping this painting (as well as many others that I gave to Goodwill) because it was one of my favorites.
