Portrait of Friend Don, 1962, pencil drawing

I enjoyed drawing portraits of friends from their high school pictures. Because I tended to be good at it, I was often asked by friends to draw a portrait of either themself or someone else. This portrait is of Don Eschelman from his high school graduation photo. Don was a friend who loved to make me laugh and once wrote me an April Fools letter asking me to marry him.
